1. Information we collect

When you apply for an internship, we collect the details you submit: your name, college, mobile number, chosen track, start date, plan, and your GitHub/LinkedIn URLs. We also request your device's GPS location (latitude/longitude) at the time of application, with your explicit browser permission — you can decline this permission, but location is currently required to submit an application. If you sign in with Google, we read your name and email from your Google account.

2. How your data is stored

This portal runs entirely in your browser. Application data, training progress, and account details are stored in your browser's local storage on your own device — TrendraXTech does not run a central server or database. Your data is not automatically visible to us unless you email it to us or an admin views it on the same device/browser.

3. How we use your information

We use your details to generate your offer letter and certificates, track your training progress, and respond to support queries. Admins and instructors you're matched with may view your application and submissions to approve your certificate.

4. Third-party services

We use Google Sign-In for authentication. If enabled, we may use an email-delivery service (EmailJS) to send you your offer letter automatically. These services process your email address to provide their function and are governed by their own privacy policies.

5. Certificate verification

The "Verify Certificate" tool checks your Certificate ID (App No) only against applications stored on that specific browser/device. We do not currently maintain a central, cross-device verification database.

6. Your choices

You can clear your browser's local storage at any time to remove your locally-stored data. To request removal of any data you've shared with us by email, contact us using the details below.
